Leadership and Project Management are primary capabilities that accelerate execution. Leadership skills to influence stakeholders, communicate effectively, build teams, and align and mobilize everyone on the project are essential. In addition, project leaders and team members need to execute projects that are aligned with the corporate strategy, deliver long-term economic benefit, and increase shareholder value.

The Building Blocks of Project Leadership

Experience has determined that there are three basic building blocks that support strategy for our clients:

1. An initial assessment and consulting process (PEAT™ – Project Environment Assessment Tool) to work with our clients to determine what is needed to create an environment for successful projects focused on capability development and identifying essential support factors needed to insure success. Using the BTS Advantage Way™ process this is all linked to strategic goals and strategic execution plans.
2. Simulations that emphasize one or more of the important capability areas of project leadership and management, but that always include the rest in the background -- leadership skills or business skills in a project setting, using process and tools with people in mind, a simulation to align sponsors, project managers and team members to support each other to deliver successful projects.
3. Simulation platforms and discovery learning processes to develop custom simulations and discovery learning engagements for our client to meet their specific needs. This includes working with formal project managers, informal and accidental project managers, and executives directing projects and managing project portfolios and programs.
